ABOUT ME
Diego Ramírez is a student, currently enrolled at Tecnológico de Monterrey in
Bachelor in Digital Systems. He is a very dedicated young man, whose main focus is
improving himself and others around him. Although he might strike as shy at first sight,
he is a natural leader, a good planner who enjoys his work.
Since the beginning of his major, he has been a volunteer at a Civil Association
in his home city, where he colaborates as a Volunteer Firefighter and as a First Aid
Instructor. He’s also took the lead in some social academic projects, such as the
development of an interactive web platform designed to aid children’s education in low
resources schools.
Also, as his passion being robotics, Diego has worked, with a team of
classmates, to develop a Bio-electronic Interface to send electronic signals via bronze
diodes into a cockroach’s antenna. During this project, he was mainly responsible of
writing the control code, as well as researching the possible effects of excessive electric
current in the insects. Before, he also worked in a remote control ground-drone, that
received commands from an electroencephalogram. For both projects, he was awarded
with Best Project at the Engineering Expo.
He is continuously demonstrating how he likes a challenge, and how he can work
alongside people to achieve amazing goals
